Have you ever found yourself stomping on your foot because it’s fallen asleep, and you don’t like that pins and needle feeling? That’s what one of the symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome feels like. I’ve been to a few Neurologists, and they all tell me that I need to have surgery. I work as a full time Administrative Assistant spending the majority of my day on the computer. At home I love spending my time cooking and crafting, so the thought of surgery is most unwelcoming.

Each year National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is observed in October. It’s important to remember why we need to continue the fight against Breast Cancer. Many of us know, or know of someone who has dealt, or is dealing with Breast Cancer. One person can make a lasting impact in the lives of those fighting the disease.
In late April I went to the doctor’s office like a good little girl for my physical. Okay, I wasn’t being such a good little girl, but after being laid off again, I figured I’d take advantage and have the entire family checked out before our current insurance ran out. Having a good employer who pays for your family’s medical insurance is a great perk. One I was definitely going to miss.
